Welcome to the European Synchrotron and Free Electron Laser User Organisation
ESUO, the European Synchrotron and Free Electron Laser User Organisation offers to represent all users of synchrotron and free electron-laser facilities in Europe. Such state-of-the-art facilities enable various kinds of experiments in fields ranging from physics through life sciences to cultural heritage to be conducted. At present, users from 32 European member states and European associated countries are represented by ESUO national delegates / representatives.

USER REPRESENTATION – HSC

The Hungarian Synchrotron Committee (HSC, a committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS)), coordinates the user activity of Hungarian scientists at accelerator-based light sources (synchrotrons and free electron lasers), as well as represents this user community (estimated number of users: 60) at different forums.
The Committee disseminates information on research opportunities, grants a limited financial support for mobility, organizes scientific meetings and schools in the fields of synchrotron applications based scientific research. HSC promotes the education and training of young scientists in these fields.
